New Accuphase products
Things have been busy over at Accuphase with the Japanese manufacturer releasing two new products recently. Regulars will know that we're big fans of Accuphase products due to their meticulous approach to design and engineering and the resulting sound and build quality. We often say that these products will last a lifetime and are easily made to pass onto the next generation of music lovers, and these two are no exception.
Accuphase E-280 Integrated Amplifier
Rated at 120W (4ohm), the E-280 integrated amplifier is the successor to the E-270 model and sports even lower noise levels largely thanks to Accuphase's AAVA volume control technology (1dB lower than the E-270), plus an increased damping factor (DF400) for better speaker control. The E-280 also brings various improvements in power supply and control, as well as two option slots that allow for expandability as required.

Accuphase MDS SA-CD Player DP-570
The MDS SA-CD Player DP-570 brings with it a refined drive mechanism that is isloated from vibration by new viscous dampers. Operation of the loading mechanism is quiet and smooth With a high-performance DAC chip, the DP-570 is ultra-low noise at 119dB (1dB lower than the DP-560 it replaces).
