This is supported by a separate external linear power supply, physically isolating the noisy power section from the audio circuitry. The result is an exceptionally low noise floor, allowing music to emerge with striking clarity, depth, and natural spatial definition.

One of the defining features of the X1 is its use of fibre network input alongside standard Ethernet, providing complete electrical isolation from network noise. This helps preserve micro-detail and timing precision, creating a darker background from which the music can unfold with greater realism and ease.

The X1 supports native playback of high-resolution PCM and DSD formats, including PCM up to 384kHz and DSD up to DSD256.
