Is it meant for stereo listening, home cinema, or both?
Both. It performs strongly as a stereo pair for music, and also works as the main front left/right speakers in a larger Silver Series AV system for home cinema.
Why twin 8-inch bass drivers?
The twin 8-inch bass drivers are what give the Silver 500 8G its commanding bass extension and dynamic headroom, distinguishing it from the smaller Silver 300 and Silver 100 models. Why does it have three drivers instead of two?
