Monitor Audio have released a brand new range of subwoofers known as Anthra, and we're pretty excited to be giving them a good workout.
The Anthra W10 is compact and great for smaller rooms. Rated at 500W it still provides plenty of punch and can be used in multiples to provide full room coverage. It features a 10” Rigid Surface Technology II (RST II) C-CAM high-excursion driver powered by a Class-D 500 Watt amplifier, housed within a comprehensively internally braced, sealed-box cabinet.
The Anthra W12 is a mid-sized 900W version that we'd recommend for mid to large sized home cinema systems. It features a 12” Rigid Surface Technology II (RST II) C-CAM high-excursion driver powered by a Class-D 1,000 Watt amplifier, housed within a comprehensive sealed-box cabinet.
The largest of the range is the Anthra W15. A formidable beast that is ideal for large home cinema systems requiring precise, musical and deep bass.
All Anthra units are equipped with a full-colour LCD display on the rear panel that allow for basic setup. More advanced tuning options are available through the MaestroUnite app, including multi-sub connectivity. The ability to tune the sub from your listening position ensures you'll get the very best experience every time.
